Scott’s path into remodeling started long before Amplified Renovations was formed.
As a teenager, he worked in his family’s sandwich shop before beginning to restore and resell cars on his own. That early hands-on experience eventually evolved into renovating his own homes, where he developed a passion for construction, problem-solving, and transforming spaces.
Around 2016, Scott began taking on more remodeling work, including painting, carpentry, tile, trim work, landscaping, retaining walls, and full residential renovations. Over time, that hands-on experience grew into a deeper focus on general contracting and project execution.
Before launching Amplified Renovations full-time, Scott also worked in corporate finance and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), managing budgets and forecasting. That background continues to shape the way he approaches remodeling projects today- balancing design, construction, budgeting, timelines, and long-term value for homeowners.
According to Scott, one of the biggest lessons from the corporate world was understanding the importance of trust, communication, and work-life balance:
“I wanted to build a company where people were treated right, both clients and employees. Family comes first. Work matters, but people matter more.”
